Not sure about the border. I used one of Leah's patterns called Beaded Curtain on the border of my daughter's quilt. It involved shapes not too different from the one you used, but with echoes. She showed it plain, and also filled with other designs. She called it Flowing Lines on October 3, 2012. <br /><br />It would work very well with your quilt and you could make it any density with a little thinking about it. You already can make the shape.
