Design Wall Monday–May 14, 2012

DWM-05-14-12
In spite of a very busy month, I was able to make a few more grannie square blocks.  Now there is a total of twelve blocks and I face the decision of what to do with them.  How many more should I make?  Do I add sashing; and if so, how wide and what color?

Be sure to check out Judy’s blog Patchwork Times to see what others have on their design walls this week.

Happy sewing and quilting!

  1. I would go black sashing and yellow corner squares. I really like your blocks! What kind of border will you add?

  2. Without sashing all those triangles are going to look like squares. It seems like a shame to waste all that effort if nobody will notice. Great looking blocks. Have fun finishing the quilt.

  4. All those wonderful quilty decisions...love it! I think those blocks play wonderfully together. If you would like it to be bigger, make more blocks!
