One of my goals for this year is to knit a dishcloth each month. I have been collecting patterns that I’d like to try and this month I chose a basic striped cloth so I can use up some of my leftover cotton yarn. The finished size should be around eight inches square and I only have an inch or so to go. I got the pattern off the web at the Lily Sugar ‘N Cream site.

What a great idea. I'm not a very good knitter, but I think I may be able to follow a pattern that is flat and square-ish. I like your first one a lot. I'm a "purple" lover and on my screen it looks like a very pretty purple and white.
ReplyDeleteA long time ago a friend made me a dish cloth - which I thought was a face cloth. I have used it for years! Once I learned it was supposed to be a dish cloth - we had a good laugh over it! Have fun knitting your dish cloths! Cheers! Evelyn
ReplyDeleteGreat plan! I need to do that also. This one is looking good, love the stripes.
